New Features Online Ordering
Online Ordering features
- Uber Eats alcohol details: Menu sync can now read the ABV, volume and category Uber Eats requires for alcohol items from your POS item name, description and category. This is off by default, so turn on Parse Uber Eats Alcohol Details in your POS settings to use it.
- Coupons on submitted catering orders: Coupons can now be added or removed on a catering order after it has been submitted, while the order is still editable or its payment has failed. Single-use codes are used up when added and returned to the guest when removed.
- Settings Manager downloads and uploads: Individual Settings Manager can now download settings as CSV (the new default), TSV or Excel, and upload .tsv, .txt, .csv or .xlsx files.
- Access Evo store controls: Access Evo can now turn online ordering, marketplaces and first-party delivery on or off for a store, with optional timed pauses. This feature is rolling out gradually.
- Back to Home on no-access pages: Inside the Access Evo tab, pages that show "You do not have rights to this resource" now include a Back to Home button that returns you to your default landing page.
- Removed defaults for submitted option groups: A new opt-in setting, Send Removed Defaults Only for Sent Option Groups, sends "No" default options only for option groups included in an order. It requires operator action and is intended for integrations that leave untouched option groups out of orders.
Updates & Fixes Online Ordering
Online Ordering Updates & Fixes
- Points-paid rewards: Rewards paid with loyalty points are now capped at the guest's available points balance, and editing an order line no longer double-counts its points.
- Stripe inquiry disputes: Disputes in inquiry status can now have evidence saved and submitted from the dispute page, where they were previously read-only.
- NCR BSP product IDs: NCR BSP orders now send the correct product IDs for items and modifiers built from data-source menus.
- Toast delivery lead time: Toast delivery orders handled by a delivery service provider now send the prep-only lead time as the required prep time, for all merchants.
- Tablet delivery toggle: Turning delivery on from the tablet for a store not set up for first-party delivery now shows a clear message instead of saving an inconsistent setting.
