Predictive Analytics Account Filter Category
Predictive Analytics has been added to Account Filters called! The powerful tool called Scoring, which was previously found under the Insights category in our Account Filters, is now located under Predictive Analytics. Scoring enables marketers to create guest segments based on predictive analytics algorithms. Scores that are currently available in the tool today include “Likelihood to Visit in 30 Days” and “Likelihood to Open an Email.” Check out the video at this link to learn more:
Add an Image to Pull Messages
Marketers now have the ability to upload an image to a pull message. The image is returned to the mobile app via REST endpoint.
Automatically Expire Pull Messages
Configure an explicit calendar expiration date for a pull message (e.g., expire pull template on May 1, 2018). Configuration of the calendar expiration date is self-service for clients. Once the explicit expiration date passes, the pull message will no longer be visible to guest.
Barcodes are a way for your guests to check in and identify themselves at your stores. Similar to QR scanning, you need bar code scanners in order to offer this feature to your guests.
Automatically Adjust Screen Brightness on QR/Barcode Screen
Nothing slows down operations like waiting for a guest to adjust their brightness in order to check in to your stores. This new mobile feature automatically adjusts the screen brightness on the app QR and Barcode screens.
3D Touch: Check In
Guests can now check in faster! Taking advantage of Apple’s new 3D Touch technology, your guests can click firmly on your app icon and instantly check in to identify themselves. This feature is iPhone specific.
International Phone Number Support
Registration forms now accept international phone numbers. The registration page will default to a 10-digit phone number unless this parameter is configured upon program set up.
The branded application now supports sharing Spotify playlists to end users via the app. Users can navigate within the app to the Spotify page and play music curated by your brand. To take advantage of this feature reach out to your TC to upgrade your app, and provide them with a link to a Spotify playlist you would want to showcase in your application.
Facebook Ad Attribution
Acquire new members into your program and track attribution using Paytronix’s integration with the Facebook Ads SDK. This integration in our branded app allows you to measure and track installs of your app. This data flows back into Facebook’s Ad Manager allowing you to fine tune your ads and optimize conversions.
The Support Site is a place you can go to quickly answer questions about features and functionality available to you. Get acquainted with all the tools Paytronix has to offer to make the most of your business. Discover hundreds of articles, videos, tips and tricks. You can log into the support site by pressing the “help” button anywhere on the merchant site.
Text to Join - Register Customers Via SMS
At the point of sale, a guest can submit a mobile number with their order. The cashier types it into the POS. In response the guest receives an SMS message asking them to complete the program registration process by replying with their email via SMS. Reach out to your Technology Consultant to start implementing this for your brand.
Wallet Filtering by Concept
As a multi-concept brand, you have different rewards for your guests that might not be available at some of the other concepts. Remove any guest confusion by filtering these rewards from showing up on the POS at locations where they are not available. Allow your marketing team to excite customers about your other brands, without adding training and awareness to the front-line staff of any other locations. Reach out to your technology consultant today to set up this functionality today.
To achieve 1-to -1 marketing, you will always be trying new styles of offers to find the best option for each guest. Clear out the clutter of old offers, to keep your work flows clean while trying as many new offers as your brand can devise. Wallet Archiving enables you to keep all reporting on past offers, while removing these options for any active promotional setup.
CSR Transaction History
Merchants can now press “Messaging View” to see detailed messaging history related to a specific account. The messaging view includes send date, message trigger, message title, message type, and status. The status field reflects guest interaction with the message such as sent, opened, clicked, unsubscribed, or failed.
Guest Facing Tier Label
Tiers can be a great tool for segmenting your guest, but the labels your Business Insights team wants don’t match with what your marketing team wants. Now both teams can decide on the label that works for their needs.
TLS 1.2 Upgrade
To ensure PCI compliance, we are removing support for insecure communication protocols from the system. Please check with your Technology Consultant to confirm that you are up to date.
Getting Checks from Positouch PXC
In version18.5 of the Positouch Paytronix Controller software, full check data from the transactions in store is collected. This includes all the data that you would expect to see on a receipt after a check has been closed. The controller can be configured to send all check data, just data from loyalty checks, or no check data.
Your IT team will no longer spend time on issues around Java auto-upgrades in the newset version of the Paytronix software.
The following page has been added to the responsive guest website suite:
Introducing the new Paytronix Analytics page!
The Analytics page in the Paytronix Merchant portal is home to a new set of dashboards that provide you with a highly visual and engaging way of gauging the performance of your program. This will be your new go-to when you need to get a high level, executive summary of your program’s performance, as well as when you need to drill deeper into your data to gather more granular insights about your guests. With the dashboards that are currently available in Analytics, you are able to:
These dashboards also enable you to download any of the data that you are looking at in a variety of different formats (Excel, CSV, TSV, Image Files, etc). You can specify the filter on the dashboard if applicable, set the schedule, and select which emails to send the dashboard to on the scheduled recurring basis.
Reconciliation Detail Report Updates
The Reconciliation Detail Report is useful for reconciling transactions in Gift Card programs. This report shows stored value activity broken down by each individual transaction. As of v18.2, this report includes two new columns: Activation Store Code and the Activation Store Name. These columns give information about where the gift card used in a particular transaction was activated. An example of what this report looks like when it is run can be seen below.
More details about how this report can be run and what it is used for can be found on our support website.
Balance Transfer Detail Report
The Balance Transfer Detail report provides details on customers who have migrated their balance from an unregistered card onto another card, usually their main account. It also includes information on what values were transferred between cards as well as a flag to indicate if all value was transferred. Users can apply date range, store, card template, and card number filters when running this report.
You can find this report under the “Other Reports” section of the Report Center. If you are unable to see it, ask your technology consultant to provide you with the necessary permissions.
