New Features

Messaging

New Endpoints for Evo Messaging Email Library

Added a set of new endpoints so email templates can be created, edited, tested, and managed directly from Evo Messaging's Email Library, using a stable identifier that keeps templates in sync between Evo and PXS. Templates managed this way are clearly marked in the Email Builder, and editing actions for those templates are routed through Evo Messaging going forward. This lays the foundation for a more unified email template management experience.

Updates & Fixes

Loyalty

Wallet Manager: Same-Day Start and End Dates

Wallet Manager now allows a wallet's start and end date to be set to the same date. Previously this configuration was not supported.

Required Field Note Added to Reverse Enroll Page

Added a note below the submit button on the reverse enroll page explaining that an asterisk indicates a required field. This gives sighted users the same information previously available only via screen reader.

Fixed Ghost Accounts from Duplicate Phone Numbers

Fixed an issue where accounts could be created without validating that a phone number was already in use on an existing account, resulting in duplicate "ghost" accounts. New accounts are now checked against existing phone numbers before creation.

Messaging

SMS Availability Tied to Organization Configuration

SMS as an option in Journey Builder is now only shown to users whose organization has SMS enabled in PXS. This avoids confusion for Advanced Messaging users who don't have SMS configured.

CTL Email Option Hidden Until Configured

The CTL Email option in Journey Builder is now hidden until the required backend configuration is enabled for that organization. This prevents users from selecting or sending CTL emails before their organization is properly set up.

Fixed Silent Google Wallet Campaign Send Failures

Fixed an issue where Google Wallet campaign sends could fail without any indication when a messaging cluster lookup failed. These failures are now properly surfaced instead of being silently swallowed.

Fixed Missing Field in SMS Center

Fixed an issue in SMS Center where the setting to use mobile phone as the identifier for registration had no field to configure it, causing the form to throw an error. The setting can now be configured correctly.

Fixed Split Test Campaign Launch Error

Fixed an issue preventing Split Test campaigns from launching, which previously resulted in a generic system error. Split Test campaigns now launch as expected.

POS

Fixed Prepaid Fuel Discounts Not Applying

Fixed an issue where discounts were not being applied to prepaid fuel transactions for Shell/Connexus locations, by making loyaltyRewardId handling more stateful on a per-transaction basis. Prepaid fuel purchases now correctly receive applicable rewards.

Fixed Toast Kiosk Gift Card PIN Issue

Fixed an issue causing problems with gift card PIN handling on Toast Kiosk. Affected transactions now process correctly.

Duplicate Disabled Accounts No Longer Appear at the POS

A bug has been resolved that allowed duplicate, disabled accounts to surface during guest lookups on Toast POS when a phone number was associated with multiple accounts. Lookups by phone number will now correctly return only the active account, removing the guesswork for staff at checkout. This ensures a more accurate and reliable point-of-sale experience for your team and your guests.
