New Features

Loyalty

Self-service eGift

A pilot has begun for clients to independently set up and manage eGift and eGift promotional programs through a new self-service tool. This feature reduces reliance on the implementations team, speeding up time to launch and enabling real-time updates. Users can customize parameters, upload branded images, select fulfillment emails, and test using a designated credit card processor before going live. Additional updates will be made in the upcoming weeks prior to the general rollout.

CTL Campaign Support

Campaign Builder now allows users to configure Click to Load (CTL) functionality within Action to Load (ATL) campaigns—eliminating the need to manually update each event. Merchants can now choose whether a campaign should apply rewards via action, click, or both, directly within the campaign UI. This enhancement supports third-party app-only offers without requiring an associated email, streamlining campaign setup. The new option ensures a smoother guest experience by enabling clickable rewards in third-party apps, without triggering unintended reward loads via other actions.

Mobile

Campaign-Based Mobile Interstitials (NextGen App)

Campaign-Based Mobile Interstitials are now available in the NextGen App! This brand new messaging channel allows you to reach your guests exactly where they already are, their app! Promote menu items, promotions, app features and more directly to a targeted audience. Interstitials will appear to users within the targeted segment when they open their app. By offering tailored content directly within the app experience, you can now create more relevant touchpoints that surprise and delight your customers.

Deep linking with Embedded OXB (NextGen App)

The NextGen App has been updated to ensure deep linking functionality works seamlessly when utilizing embedded OXB. This update enables deep linking to specific menu items and categories matching the functionality of the native experience. Users are now directed to the appropriate store and menu based on location settings or past orders. If the item or category is available, the app auto-selects the store and guides users directly to the relevant page; otherwise, it prompts for store selection. This enhancement a more seamless navigation across the app.

Integration for Third Party SSO (NextGen App)

The NextGen App now supports integrations with additional third-party Single Sign-On (SSO) services. This advancement removes the need for separate credentials and log-ins, streamlining the user experience.

Updates & Fixes

Loyalty

Aloha Barcode Scanning Improvement

We've refined barcode scanning capabilities with NCR Aloha Cloud (formerly NCR Silver Pro). This update addresses an issue where barcode scans of 10-digit card numbers were not properly recognized, particularly affecting reverse enrollment batch-created loyalty accounts. You can now expect accurate scanning results for both 10-digit and 16-digit card numbers, ensuring seamless access to loyalty account details. Manual entry and phone number lookup for all card numbers remain unaffected and continue to function as expected.

Messaging

Pause and Resume Support

Our platform now supports pausing and resuming scheduled events—like campaign adjustments and wallet expirations—without losing progress. This means that during system maintenance or deployments, active events will no longer be skipped or require manual restarts. Once the system is back online, events will automatically pick up where they left off. This update helps ensure more consistent execution and a smoother experience for both you and your guests.

Mobile

Improved Support for American Express Orders (NextGen App)

An issue where some American Express orders were intermittently failing has been resolved in the NextGen App. The update resolves a prior issue affecting certain Amex transactions, ensuring consistent functionality across all locations and aligning in-app performance with the browser experience.

MXB Purchase Again Component Compatibility (NextGen App)

The MXB Purchase Again Component has been updated to work seamlessly with the Embedded OXB feature. Previously, when embedded in the app, the component did not appear on the dashboard even if the user had a history of past orders. With this fix, users will now see the 'Order Again' component display the last three items they ordered, allowing for easy repeat purchasing directly from the dashboard when Embedded OXB is enabled.

Updated Password Reset Flow (Branded App)

The password reset flow has been updated in the Branded App to provide a clear message to guests while also ensuring user privacy and security. Users who request a password reset will now receive a confirmation message, notifying them that a reset email will be sent if an account with their email exists.

Hidden Wallet Expirations (NextGen App)

The "Available Rewards" component now fully respects the PXS parameter settings for wallet expiration visibility. Previously, expiration dates would be displayed even when set to be hidden, causing inconsistency between web and mobile presentations. This update ensures the app respects and avoids showing expirations that should be hidden.

Updated Email Address Character Limit (Branded App)

The email address field on the login and edit account pages for Android users has been updated to allow entries without a character limit. Previously restricted to 31 characters, this change ensures that all email variations are now supported, enhancing compatibility and user convenience. AND-61254
