New Features Online Ordering

Improved Checkout Display Logic

Our latest update enhances the checkout experience by dynamically hiding the Express Checkout option when neither Apple Pay (AP) nor Google Pay (GP) are available. Previously, Express Checkout would display regardless of the availability of these payment methods, leading to a less than optimal user interface. This update ensures a cleaner and more intuitive checkout process, displaying the Express Checkout button only when users can utilize these specific payment options, thereby improving the visual presentation of your checkout page.

Order Review and Tip Visibility Update

In the Orchid, Sunflower, and Dahlia mobile interfaces, the order review section has been simplified to enhance accessibility. By removing the order review and tip fields from the sticky area and eliminating their dropdown placement, visibility issues have been reduced, ensuring that these components are now easily viewable by guests. The submit button remains sticky, allowing for consistent access.

Add Long Order Number Parameter to Email Builder

The latest update to Email Builder introduces the ability to include a long order number in your Online Ordering receipt emails. Previously, only the guest-facing order number could be inserted. Now, you can easily add a unique long order number, like "6825eae1cc15c263f606bedd," directly into your email templates. This enhancement is especially useful for incorporating delivery tracking URLs in the order receipt emails. To set this up, simply insert the long order number into your Email Builder template using the new parameter, enabling seamless integration with tracking services.

Excluding Specific Items from AI Cross-Sells

You can now exclude specific items from AI-driven cross-sell recommendations in your online ordering system. This feature is particularly useful for excluding items that don't complement made-to-order meals, such as raw steaks. This enhancement provides more control over the cross-selling process, tailoring recommendations to enhance the customer dining experience.

Post-Sale Cross-Sell Recommendations

The post-sale cross-sell feature provides an intuitive way to recommend additional products to your customers after they have completed a purchase. This feature surfaces suggestions based on the customer's existing order, encouraging further engagement and enhancing the opportunity for additional sales. Customers receive tailored recommendations immediately after an order is submitted, fostering a personalized shopping experience.

Easily Visible Loyalty Website Link in Online Ordering

Enhance your guests' experience by seamlessly linking to the PXS guest loyalty website directly from the Online Ordering interface. This update places a prominent link to the loyalty site in the top-level navigation, enabling guests to effortlessly access their reward accounts. This feature aims to provide quick access without needing additional logins, making it more convenient for guests to manage their loyalty points and rewards. This update addresses concerns like those faced by Fresh Brothers and ensures guests won't miss the opportunity to engage with their loyalty benefits while placing orders.

Persistent Points Reward Issue Resolved

The issue where unchecking a "Points reward(Custom Pizza)" on the submit page had no effect has been fixed, ensuring the checkbox state updates as expected.

Order Type Accuracy Enhancement

Order receipts now accurately display 'Delivery' instead of 'Pickup' for delivery orders.

Coupon Code Display Issue Fix

An issue where updated Coupon Codes and Tax Exempt Codes were not displaying in OXB has been resolved.

Calendar Date Restricted Items Now Correctly Display

Items restricted to specific calendar dates no longer appear on Uber Eats when unavailable.
