New Features Online Ordering

Embedded OXB - Lily: Quantity Selection

You can now adjust item quantities directly in the embedded on-page cart with the new quantity selection feature. This intuitive inline adjustment option streamlines your shopping experience by eliminating the need to navigate back to the product menu, ensuring quicker and easier checkout adjustments.

 

Applicable Rewards Mode Enhancement

We have enhanced the Applicable Rewards Mode by automatically deselecting rewards that are no longer eligible when an error arises during redemption. Previously, if a reward became unavailable after selection but before redemption, an error would remain if reattempted. Now, in addition to surfacing the error, any rewards causing the error are unchecked, preventing repeated failed attempts.

 

OXB: Event Animations Support

Event animations breathe life into your guest experience by offering dynamic visual cues for key moments. You can now animate changes, such as task completion or status updates, making it easier to notice updates at a glance. These animations help in keeping your team informed and synchronized with real-time progress without needing to search for changes. Customize the animations to align with your team’s workflow requirements, and ensure that significant events stand out on the board.

 

Enhanced Accessibility for Icon Buttons

Icon buttons across the platform now feature improved accessibility. Each icon button is equipped with a descriptive accessible name to ensure better navigation for all users. This enhancement addresses prior issues where icon buttons lacked identifiable names, improving compatibility with screen readers and assisting users in understanding the button's purpose without visual reliance.

 

Dropdown Lists ADA Compliance

Dropdown lists have been updated to meet ADA compliance standards, ensuring better accessibility for users relying on screen readers. The builder now correctly nests <li> elements within a parent <ul> or <ol>, allowing screen readers to interpret and navigate the lists effectively.

The apply button now correctly appears in applicable rewards mode only when modifying open dollar rewards.

A UI glitch caused 'Dine In' orders to incorrectly display as 'Carryout' post-checkout.

In Order Experience Builder, suggested order headcount now defaults to zero, correcting previous off by one issue.

 

DoorDash Menu Push Error Resolution

A validation fix now prevents menu option errors causing frequent order rejections from the platform.
