Embedded Order Experience Builder Tip Selection

Improve usability with percentage buttons for Tip selection, replacing dropdown menus with accessible, one-tap options. This update enhances decision speed and offers a seamless, frictionless experience, particularly for mobile users who benefit from an intuitive, thumb-friendly interface.

Sticky Review & Checkout Button

Enhancing your mobile checkout experience, the floating Review & Checkout button is now pinned to the bottom thumb area of the screen. This strategic placement optimizes accessibility, reduces friction, and increases interaction efficiency, allowing users to effortlessly navigate through the purchasing process with minimized cognitive load.

Accessibility Improvements for Dropdown Lists

The structure of our navbar dropdown lists has been improved to meet ADA compliance standards. Screen readers can now more effectively navigate our dropdowns as all list items (<li>) are properly contained within parent unordered (<ul>) or ordered (<ol>) lists, enhancing accessibility for users with visual impairments.

Improved Accessibility for Icon Buttons

Icon buttons now have accessible names, ensuring that all users, including those using screen readers, have a seamless interaction experience. This enhancement addresses previous issues where buttons and links could be configured without accessible names, which caused stylesheet inconsistencies. Accessible names are essential for optimal navigation and interaction within the application, paving the way for a more inclusive user interface.

Item Quantity Selection in Cart

Enhance your shopping experience with the new item quantity (+/-) button directly on the cart page. This update improves interaction efficiency by allowing you to adjust order quantities seamlessly without returning to the menu, providing a smoother checkout flow.

Enhanced Menu Update Traceability

Gain clearer insights into user actions with improved traceability for Menu Updates. Previously logged as changes by "System", updates now accurately reflect the initiating user in audit logs. This enhancement provides precise tracking and accountability, making it easier to follow up on modifications and ensure responsible management of system changes.

Gift Card Tender Mapping in Speedline

You can now specify a separate tender for gift cards within the Speedline ordering system, aligning with practices common across other POS platforms. Gift card transactions, including those with split payments, will be accurately classified and passed to the POS as a distinct tender type. This enhancement ensures that gift card payments are recorded in their own accounting category, offering more precise financial tracking and management. Access these settings on the Receiving Your Orders page of the dashboard to implement gift card tender mapping.

POS Settings Page - Coming Soon!

Settings for Point of Sale (POS) have been streamlined and moved to a dedicated POS Settings page, enhancing organization and navigation. This change separates POS controls from the Receiving Your Orders page, where only the fax, phone, and email notification settings remain, along with order monitoring sections. A link has been added to the Receiving Your Orders page to guide users to the new POS Settings location, ensuring a smooth transition for users accustomed to the previous layout.

Improved Embedded Webpage Spacing in NextGen App

Resolved an issue where the Embedded OXB webpage did not fit properly within the allocated space in the NextGen app, causing it to cut off details at the top. Users experienced misalignment when zooming out, impacting the visibility and interaction of webpage elements. This fix ensures that the webpage is fully visible and aligned, improving overall user experience and functionality. The adjustment allows users to view and interact with embedded content seamlessly, without the need for manual zooming or adjustments.

Support for Free Modifiers on Grubhub Marketplace

This update introduces the ability to add free modifiers to orders on the Grubhub Marketplace, ensuring that clients are not incorrectly charged for non-priced options. Previously, orders containing free modifier items —may have incurred unintended charges when ordered through Grubhub but correctly reflected as free when ordered directly from the restaurant. This enhancement aligns pricing experiences across platforms, enhancing both transparency and customer satisfaction.

Catering Order Experience Builder: Suggested Order Scale Correction

Fixed an issue in OXB where the suggested order headcount was off by 1, now defaulting the order total_fed_headcount value to 0 for accurate scaling.

Apply Button Display Issue in Rewards Mode

Corrected the logic to ensure the apply button only appears when modifying open dollar rewards in applicable rewards mode.

Custom Color Preferences Respected over Preset Themes

Resolved an issue where preset themes were overriding custom color settings, ensuring custom brand colors are now applied correctly to button hover states.

Prevent Data Loss in Agency Builder

Resolved an inconsistency in the Agency Builder page where loading a configuration would unintentionally overwrite the selected page if saved, ensuring mobile is chosen by default and preventing accidental data deletion.

OXB Mobile View Special Instructions Bug Fixed

Resolved an issue on iPhone mobile view where entering special instructions would crash the app, returning users to the menu.

Fix Copy/Paste in Restaurant Links

Resolved an issue preventing users from copying and pasting links to restaurant pages, ensuring seamless sharing of information.

Order Payment Status Update for ezCater Integration

Orders marked as 'pay at store' within ezCater will now correctly reflect the payment status in OO Catering Orders, ensuring seamless payment processing and eliminating confusion.

Modifier Pricing Display Fix

Resolved an issue where modifier pricing was not displayed correctly in online ordering.

Handling of Invalid Item Visibility Time

System now correctly processes only valid start time values for item visibility, preventing exceptions caused by negative time entries like "-1:00".

Skip the Dishes Order Cutoff

Resolved an issue where Skip the Dishes orders were being accepted past the designated 8:30 PM cutoff time.

Size Specific Rewards Indicator

Fixed the issue where size-specific rewards were not showing the "Available Rewards" indication on menu items due to item size being included in the item ID within the online ordering system.

Improved Order Experience Builder Search Accuracy

The OXB Search now correctly filters out hidden and unordered categories, ensuring only orderable menu items are displayed.
