Catering: Email Notifications on Order Lock
When a catering order is locked, an additional email notification is sent to designated recipients. This notification includes all order details as they exist at lock time, ensuring that any changes made since order submission are reflected. The email notification supplements existing point-of-sale alerts without modifying integration or notification timings to kitchen display systems.
MS Simphony Gen2: Sync Stock Data
Stock availability and unavailable menu items are now automatically synchronized from MS Simphony Gen2 using the supported API endpoint. Whenever changes occur in MS Simphony, your connected system will reflect updated stock levels and item availability without requiring manual intervention.
Configurable Catering Prompts
You can now disable or make optional the prompts for "How many people are you serving?" and "What's the occasion?" on the catering menu. In General Settings, disabling the 'Enable Catering Headcount' checkbox will remove the headcount field from the menu, and the "What's the occasion?" question is no longer required. Guests will not be prompted to answer these questions unless you specify otherwise.
