New Features: Online Ordering

Pizza Picker Defaults Improvements

Addressed an issue where guests could deselect a topping for the whole pizza while the left and right halves remained selected, causing confusion. Now, if a topping is deselected for the whole pie, it will also be removed from the left and right halves to ensure consistent selections.

Image Scaling for Menu Item Logos

Enhancements have been made to improve the display of menu item images. When no specific image is available and the restaurant logo is used, the image mode will default to "scale" instead of "crop" to ensure optimal presentation. This adjustment ensures logos are displayed elegantly without cropping, providing a better visual experience across menus.

Bulk Update Option Pricing

Introducing the capability for users to bulk update option size prices directly through the site-level Enterprise Menu Management editor. This enhancement addresses the challenge of managing extensive price datasets, such as those with over 10,000 entries, by allowing franchisees to efficiently upload and update their pricing. This streamlined process is essential for facilitating timely updates and is pivotal for enabling franchisees, to seamlessly manage their pricing data.

Order Identifier Enhancement for Revel Integration

Enhance the Revel integration with the functionality to include a distinct identifier for Online Ordering orders, addressing a critical client need. Previously, unique prefixes were used in the old integration to prevent duplication issues when identical PX order numbers were encountered across different locations. This update ensures each order retains a unique identity in Revel, eliminating confusion for employees and ensuring accurate assignment of order numbers. This enhancement improves operational efficiency by making it easier for staff to distinguish between online and offline orders, preventing errors in loyalty program point allocation.
