New Features: Online Ordering

Tobacco Delivery Addendum for DoorDash Drive

We've introduced a separate process for collecting PDFs required for alcohol and tobacco deliveries. Clients will now need to upload a separate PDF for each via the updated DoorDash Drive admin link.

Progressive Web App Enhancements: Guest Presentation

Display the prompt to install the Progressive Web App after a guest submits an order on the "details" page for both iOS and Android users. If the guest was logged in, they are kept logged in, and the app opens on the details page to allow seamless order tracking. If no ongoing order exists, the app will open on the menu page instead.

Show Menu Items with Limited Ordering Dates

This new feature allows you to display specific menu items, such as seasonal or holiday specials, on your menu throughout the year without permitting orders until a specified date range. Guests can view these items and their availability timeframe, helping them plan ahead. If desired, guests can initiate an advanced order for when the item becomes available or receive a message prompting them to adjust their pickup time to the designated date.

Toast Menu API Updates

Partner-specific menu visibility settings are now available for online ordering partners. Restaurant users can specify which ordering partners can see specific menus, manage these settings from the Menu Builder in Toast Web.

Online Ordering Menu API Integration

We've integrated our system with the Online Ordering Menu API to seamlessly obtain and display menu data. This enhancement ensures that our menu data is always up-to-date and accurately reflects the items available for online ordering. For detailed information, visit the API documentation.

Service for Syncing BaseItemId to BaseItemPrice

Introducing a new service to streamline the synchronization of baseItemId with baseItemPrice across all stores. When a baseItemId is added to a combo product page, the service will remember the item and trigger an immediate sync, followed by periodic syncing every 20 minutes. This ensures that menu data from Online Ordering is consistently updated for all stores within a merchant, while maintaining an accurate database entry mapping baseItemID to baseItemPrice.

Order Details Page Error Handling

We've fixed the display on the Order Details page when an error occurs in Simphony.

ReplyTo Address Field Issue on Tablet Settings

Resolved an error that prevented adding an email in the ReplyTo address field on the Tablet Settings page.

Correct POS ID Mapping in Online Orders

Online Ordering now sends the correct PDI POS ID to the PXS, ensuring proper loyalty rewards application.

Grubhub Item Availability

Ensure menu items with date ranges are sorted correctly to avoid "item not found" errors.

Menu Page Error Resolved

The issue causing the menu page to error out has been fixed.

Empty First/Last Name Fallback Fix

Fixed an issue where submitting an empty first or last name would not correctly fall back to the user account name.

Grubhub Invalid Size Rejected Orders

Fixed a bug where certain orders were being rejected due to invalid size messages.

Automatic Order Printing

Resolved an issue where tablet-connected printers were failing to automatically print new orders.

PX Payments Dispute Funds Handling

Resolved an issue where dispute funds were returned to the guest but not deducted from the client's account in the Payout and Balance Activity report.
