Messaging

Survey

In the spirit of facilitating real-time, simple data collection on your loyalty members, Paytronix has created a Survey Center. As of v16.5, Paytronix now offers a one-to-one survey platform. Surveys can be sent out via real-time messaging channels, meaning that the survey is triggered by an in-store POS transaction. Survey deployment is supported through email, push, and pull messages.

The “Survey Center” is stored under Marketing Tools on the left navigation. In it, you can create your own survey questions and answers. The following question types are supported:

  • Multiple Choice (Single Select) – Guests can select one answer in a list of possible options.
  • Multiple Choice (Multi-Select) – Guests can select all answers that apply via this question type.
  • Open Response – Enable guests to give you feedback in their own words.
  • Rating Scale – from zero or one through ten, guests can rank their experience, the taste of your food, quality of service and more.

Additionally, marketers can reward survey respondents for completing a survey.

Clients with third party mobile applications and websites can integrate to our one-to-one survey feature via our open REST endpoints.

Please reach out to your technology consultant to learn more about enabling the survey feature. Clients must be a messaging customer in order to use this feature.

Email Throughput Improvements

Thanks to the success of our messaging product line and expanding subscriber lists of you, our clients, we’ve increased our email throughput by a factor of four.

Single Sign On Through OLO's Online Ordering System

With single sign on, users will maintain and access a single account for online ordering and optionally a rewards program. This simplifies and elevates the guest experience between two digital touchpoints. All customer profile information including username and password will be stored in the Paytronix database.

With the enhanced integration, marketers can now leverage the single-sign-on guest information to execute on a one-to-one marketing strategy with or without a rewards program. When online orders account for a larger portion of all checks, the passive identification that is common to online ordering flows gives marketers access to rich purchase data that is tied to an individual.

New REST endpoints have been created to accommodate this integration type:

  1. OLO Service
    1. requestGuestToken
    2. requestGuestInfo
  2. Guest Service
    1. printedCardNumberForExternalAccount

Paytronix Improvements

CSR Account Lookup: Account Comments

Want to leave an easy-to-find comment on a customer’s account to inform you about ongoing issues or a VIP member’s preferences? Look no further. Account Comment functionality is now available through the CSR Account Lookup feature on the Merchant Administration portal. Customer service representatives can now leave comments on an individual account that is not tied to a specific transaction.

To create a comment, simply lookup an account holder and click the “Add Comment” link inside the blue box. At any time, CSRs can look at the history of comments associated with this account by clicking “Account Comment History” in the left navigation panel. CSRs cannot delete comments from an account.

Responsive Guest Website

Email Address as Username

New programs can now allow customers to use their email address as their username, rather than enforcing a separate, non-email based username. For existing clients wishing to implement this feature, members will be able to “migrate” their account from using a username and password credentials to an email address and password.

Clients using third party REST integrations for mobile applications and websites must update their existing integration in order to support this new feature.

Support for Paytronix's white label apps will be added in Summer 2016.

Customer Transaction History

As of V16.5, points that are automatically converted into rewards are now labeled as “converted” in the customer transaction history. Previously these points would have been displayed in the customer transaction history as “redeemed.”

Point of Sale (POS) Integrations

PixelPoint

In v16.5, Paytronix has enhanced its integration with PixelPoint. The integration feature set now includes the ability to utilize menu item level rewards, category rewards, as well as fixed and open dollar amount rewards for loyalty and comp programs.

Drop Tank – Gilbarco Passport, NCR Radiant, VeriFone Sapphire, VeriFone Commander

In V16.5, Paytronix has added support for C-Store loyalty programs through its integration with Drop Tank. Using the Drop Tank integration Paytronix clients using Gilbarco Passport, NCR Radiant, VeriFone Sapphire, or VeriFone Commander can take advantage of Paytronix’s loyalty and comp programs.

In addition to standard loyalty functionality, the Drop Tank clients will be able to take advantage of Paytronix’s new “Price Per Gallon” reward discount. This type of reward could be used to give per-gallon discounts off of customer gas purchases. For example, clients could run a “$0.10 off per gallon” promotion.
